Product Introduction

It is an important part of infrared spectral imaging. Their main difference lies in different wavelength ranges and lens materials. Long-wave infrared lenses are suitable for wavelength ranges from 8 to 14 microns. Long-wave infrared lens can be used in fire detection, safety monitoring and life science. Key parameters include lens focal length, field of view, pixel size and lens diameter, etc. These parameters have different importance and requirements for different application scenarios.

Infrared lenses corrected by special materials can usually be used in the following scenes:

1. All-weather surveillance camera

The most important use of infrared lens is to complete all-weather monitoring. After optical correction, the infrared lens is clearly focused during the day and usually needs to be refocused in the morning. The infrared lens corrected by special materials can make visible light and infrared light focus on the same focus, so after the focus is clear during the day, the infrared fill light can still be turned on at night to clearly image.

Step 2 be foggy

Fog penetration stems from the monitoring requirements in a long-distance and complex environment. Fog is composed of coarse particles floating in the air, and the more particles per unit volume, the thicker the fog. Visible light has a short wavelength and cannot penetrate the mist, which is why the visibility is very low in foggy morning. However, the wavelength of near infrared light is longer, which makes infrared light diffract huge particles and complete the purpose of fog penetration.

In the fog-penetrating form, the optical filter will filter out visible light and only save infrared light. With the coating antireflection technology, the fog-penetrating lens can be monitored all the time in a long distance under the condition of extremely low visibility, and the focal plane will not shift under normal and fog-penetrating forms.

3. Laser night vision

Laser is a highly concentrated monochromatic light, so remote night vision monitoring can be realized by using infrared laser. The laser beam scans the object, and the object reflects the beam back and can be imaged after being focused by the lens. Infrared laser is usually used, and its wavelength is in the near infrared wavelength range, so infrared lens must be used to cooperate with laser equipment. The infrared lens corrected by special materials can penetrate 950nm light source, and it can be used with infrared laser to realize ultra-long-distance night vision monitoring.
